Highschool of the Dead!!!

Woargghhhh!!!!!!!!! It's ZOMBIE TIME!!!!!!!

Today theme is.... ZOMBIES!!!! What? Didn't hear it? Again..... ZOMBIES!!!!!! Hahaha.... Ever played Left 4  Dead before? Fun isn't it, watching the zombies blasted into pieces by your shotgun. Well, this time, its got better. A way lot better! Imagine putting all that kind of good, gory stuff, plus several teenagers, a hot nurse, lots of weapons, and a lots, lots, lots of ZOMBIES!!!!! And the results is = HIGHSCHOOL OF THE DEAD! (wow, I am good at Zombie math...)

Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide.......

Highschool of the Dead is set in the present day, beginning as the world is struck by a deadly pandemic that turns humans into zombies, euphemistically referred to by the main characters as "them". The story follows Takashi Komuro, a Japanese student at Fujimi High School who survived the initial outbreak along with several of his classmates and the school nurse, and occasionally jumps to the perspective of other characters.
The plot is initially concerned with survival and escape from the titular high school and zombies, but as the series proceeds it introduces the additional threats of societal collapse, in the form of dangerous fellow survivors and the possible decay of the characters' own moral codes.
The zombies will tore your clothes into pieces first, before tore you into a meatbag !!!!!

Yup. That is the synopsis I can tell you. It may start a little slow, nothing happening much at the beginning.... but after several minutes of introduction, it quickly turn into a people eating  zombies bloodbath..... and that is where the fun begin. The main character, Takashi, quickly grouped with several survivors, all acting like a RPG style adventure. Wonderful, isn't it? Mixing RPG with zombies. The not so wonderful thing is when the zombie outbreak had spread all across the seven seas(?!), and where there is people, there is zombies. They fight along all together, getting new weapons ( a very detailed and cool new weapons) to shoot more zombies, meeting people (and zombies), avoiding and hiding from zombies, kill zombies when you accidentally 'invite' them, and kill more zombies.(well, I think I said too much zombie this time, or maybe I am talking zombie).

Enjoy your temporary rest now, before you REST IN PEACE!!!!
The anime give a deep feeling and meaning about the nature of humans and the need of survivals. Everyone personalities will change, when they are tested to their limits. People change from being gentle to a killer machine, from a slacker to a trustworthy leader, from a bossy person to a desperate cowards, and from human to zombies. Sacrifice is needed so eventually a larger group of can survive. There is also some people who take advantage of this chaotic situation: there is people who loot properties, murder peoples, done violent thing, make a new cult group and much more. This anime does reflect the true nature of human.

Main cast of HOTD. From front to back: Takashi Komuro (Front); Saeko Busujima and Kōta Hirano (Middle); Rei Miyamoto, Saya Takagi and Shizuka Marikawa (Rear).

The feeling, expression and personalities of each character was displayed deeply, aside from the great action (and fanservice). There is one who claim to be a great leader, forming a cult, exploiting others. There is also who look gentle but actually hiding in the face of a sadistic killer. The voice acting is great, and the soundtrack is very good. I love it when they do so damn well in an anime.

Overall, this is an unbeliavable anime. Aside from the ZOMBIES! and fanservice, it does showing a fantastic action and style. There's a lot to like here if you're looking for something beyond the usual high school dramas and comedies of the last few years. Other recent zombie works in Western entertainment have tried to play it ironic, or postmodernist, or just plain silly, but this one goes for straight-up horror—and pulls it off admirably. Epic. I demand more ZOMBIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

EPIC Shooting position.......

Don't go yet. I hear that there will be a new season, early in 2011. There will also a new OVA released, and I sure hope it will be more epic! Finally...... ZOMBIESSSS!!!!!!!!!

The end of the world is just the beginning of pure epicness....

Call of Duty: Black Ops

A badass using a badass weapon. This is Call of Duty: Black Ops.
Hey again!!! How are you doing?! Fine? Ok. Lets get to the point. Have you played Call of Duty Black Ops? (stupid question, isn't it?). No? Then smash your piggy bank right now and find it on a store near you. What? Sold out? Duh..... This game had been sold about 6 million copies on the day it was released already. Nevertheless, this game is a damn well fine of art.... a wonder..... I think....

Black Ops is a first-person shooter. The player assumes the role of a foot soldier who can wield various firearms, of which two at a time can be carried; throw grenades and other explosives; and use other equipment as weapons. A player close enough to an enemy can kill with one blow. A character can take three stances: standing, crouching, or prone; each affects rate of movement, accuracy, and stealth. The player can dive prone from a standing position when running. The player can momentarily sprint but will then grow tired. The screen glows red to indicate damage to a player's health, which goes away over time. When the character is within the blast radius of a live grenade, a marker indicates the direction of the grenade, helping the player to flee or throw it back. Among the game's weapons are crossbows with bolts and explosive ammunition, Dragon's Breath rounds and ballistic knives.
Yeah, a whole lot of new weapons including the classic one during world war 2 that give COD: World at War player a feeling of Deja Vu. You can't find modern advanced weaponary thought, but still, having a Blackbird or an exploding crossbows round is pretty impressive. The other weapon such as M-16, AK-47, FAMAS, M-14 series, should be familiar with FPS player.

Looks like a ninja, sneaky like a ninja..... a gun wielding ninja?

Call of Duty: Black Ops takes place during the Cold War, in the 1960s. The story focuses on CIA-backed clandestine black operations carried out behind enemy lines. These missions take place in various locations around the globe such as the Ural Mountains in central RussiaCubaLaos, and Vietnam. The single-player campaign revolves around an experimental Soviet chemical weapon codenamed "Nova-6".

The player mainly controls special forces operative Alex Mason and occasionally CIA agent Jason Hudson, as well as other characters. Mason often works with Frank Woods and Joseph Bowman, while Hudson teams up with Grigori Weaver, a Russian-born field operative. Viktor Reznov, a key character from the Soviet campaign in World at War returns. Its Russian protagonist Dimitri Petrenko also makes an appearance. Black Ops features several historical figures: Mason meets John F. Kennedy,Robert McNamara, and Fidel Castro.
Ahh... crossbow.... a gentleman way of killing people....
The storyline is a little bit scripted though. A lot of them need you to follow a certain person until you reach a designated point. Run away a little bit from that person, then you will be awarded with a bullet shoot in your head. But, who cares? As long as there is explosions, a lot of explosions! The battlefield seems so realistic and live, it is just like you are the one who is onto the war. The setting is amazing, from a jungle, to the city, on a snowy mountain, until into a deep underwater facility, it seems so fantastic. You can also ride many kind of vehicle along the story: helicopter, jet, boat, tank link jeep- you name it. ( it does bug me how does the main character knows how to drive all of these thing). Above all, one of the most nostalgic feeling of playing this game is the return of Viktor Reznov. I still remember the first time I played and suddenly, holy shit?! Reznov?! He still got his cool and full of spirit personalities. Overall, the storyline is epic, although it is pretty strict on character development and quite hard to understand at the beginning. You will want to play, until all the plot of the game is revealed on this 4-5 hours of gameplay.

Do you ever taste a knife in your mouth during winter before?
I dont have much to say about this game though. The feeling of epicness is just to great. And have I mention about the multiplayer? The multiplayer is one of the greatest of all time: the multiplayer alone can be a standalone pack.
The online multiplayer mode of Black Ops retains the experience points and unlockable reward system that has been kept since Call of Duty 4. The game's multiplayer focuses on socialization and customization. "Create-a-Class 2.0" allows enhanced personalization with appearance items as well as upgradable perks; weapons are extensively customizable with writing, emblems, attachments and camouflage painting. Even reticles can be modified. There are more than one style for an attachment, which allows for a lot more personalized weaponry; for example, the player can choose between a red dot sight or a reflex sight, both of which share the same traits, they merely look different. Character models depend on the first tier perk instead of the weapon's type. Furthermore, face paints can be unlocked. New custom killstreak rewards include explosive R/C cars, guided missiles and controllable attack helicopters.

Well, you got to play it if you want to love it. After you love it, you will get obsessed to it. And when you get obsessed to it, well, consider yourself as done. Lastly, one last word to describe this game: EPIC. We'll meet again. Roger and out!!!!
He should be arrested against the killing of edangered species.... I think....

Mitsudomoe

Mitsudomoe!!!!!!
Hello, and welcome again. Lately, I've watched a lot of great anime. Mostly are all around the high schooler's life and so on. But this time, it is about elementary school life. Seem childish? Don't be foolen around by its setting. This anime is totally about a twisted version of the elementary school. You'll never expect this kind of elementary school to have dirty jokes, ecchi scene and others.
The story is about Satoshi Yabe is just starting his new life as an elementary school teacher. Little does he know that in his assigned 6th year class, the law is made by the troublesome Marui triplets, Mitsuba, Futaba and Hitoha. The series showcases the everyday life of these sisters, their classmates and their unfortunate teacher.

Heh...heh... I can fell the pleasure of having you.... as my eternal slave......
Mitsuba Marui
The eldest of the Marui triplets, enjoys causing mischief and is aptly described as a "precocious sadist". She is easily embarrassed and quick to deny her feelings toward someone, when she really does care. A running gag in the anime is that her desk always gets destroyed by Futaba as well as getting injured by her too. She is pretty conscious about her weight. She appears to have a superiority complex, always wanting her classmates to address her as Mitsuba-sama and servant her. Her name means "three-leaf." She looks evil to me, but she is sure a caring sister.

Yes! Thats me!!!
Futaba Marui
The middle of the Marui triplets, she's energetic and airheaded but also can speak and act lecherously. She is mostly seen in barefeet. It's explained that while Futaba is goofy, she does have dedication when the topic is about breasts; she has a strange boob obsession. She is also very artistic. Futaba always thinks of others before herself but her common sense is a bit twisted. She is also the strongest out of the sisters and often ends her sentences in "ssu", a contraction for "desu". Out of the Marui sisters, she seems to be the only one close to their father. Her name means "two-leaf." I don't know what is in her mind..... only Boobs?!

That book......Holds the secret of the universe...... seriously......

Hitoha Marui
The youngest of the Marui triplets, she tends to be quiet and mysterious. She always seems to be reading a book in class which has shown to be very erotic. She also shows a death glare at anyone who tries to take it away from her. She may not intend this glare to be so vicious, as it also appears when she's particularly nervous, embarrassed or uncertain, such as when giving in to her teacher and asking a few of her classmates to walk home together. She has a soft side for Nipples (the class hamster) and gets jealous when other people play with him. She shows to be crueler than Mitsuba when she is disturbed. Out of the two sisters, Hitoha is kinder to Futaba as the little sister and always pull pranks on Mitsuba. She appears to be deathly afraid of heights. She happens to be a fan of Gachi Rangers (a parody of Super Sentai/Power Rangers), yet she doesn't say it out loud, even though she wants to. Her name means "one-leaf." Wow, she is sure a scary person, but still, she is still  very nice to Nipples....Er... I mean the class hamster.

Yep. Thats the teacher. No kidding.
Satoshi Yabe
The new teacher at the triplets school who has to endure all of the misadventures the girls and his classroom have. He tries his best to keep things under control but because of his good natured and humble personality, he becomes a target for "bullying" of the girls. He bought a hamster, named Nipples by Futaba, for his classroom. He seems to have a crush on the school nurse. He is given the nickname "Yabecchi" by his classmates. Like Hitoha, he is a fan of Gachi Rangers, and misunderstands conversations with Hitoha about the matter (i.e. he was thinking that when she said "did you see them?" he thought she meant her panties due to a gust of wind blowing on her skirt.) A troubled teacher indeed.

Overall, this is quite the decent anime. Suitable for you who want to see elementary children to make weird jokes. The chracter and the comedy is pretty interesting, but  lack of action and some BANG stuff. Hmm... I hear that there is a second season coming? Not sure, but hope so.

See you again!!!

Otaku?!

Haha! When I see the meaning of Otaku in the internet, I always laugh as it always mean like this: A people who is obsessed in anime, manga and 2-D stuffs. Well, that is not actually true. An Otaku is actually about the deep interest in anime, loving to read manga and enthiusiasm in playing games... that is otaku, my friend.
So if you actually somehow to love anime and that kind of thingy, you may as well call yourself an Otaku, even if you try to deny it. Face it, and live with it. Don't ever judge an Otaku badly as we are human too, with a passionate in this pop culture.

What is your reaction when someone call you an otaku?

Social gamings?!

Social games.... There is more than meets the eye....
What is social gamings? For me, its an alternative and free way to play games other than MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game). Its a game about meeting your friends, chatting with them, meeting new friends, chatting again, etc.... Well, it is a light way to enjoy games for those who are new to the gaming world ( by gaming world, I mean real serious hardcore gamers), or those who want to play cheap, relaxing and tension releasing games. Well, typically, they all play this kind of game because it is very easy to access and..... free!

One of the most popular site for this kind of games is..... thum tarammm tarammmm ( well I know that you already know about this).... Facebook! All kind of social games and application are added into this site, and since everyone have facebook ( if no, go create one yourself, right now), everyone can play this thingy. Mafia War? Farmvile? Restaurant City? Plant vs Zombies? you can find it all here. I'm even spoilt for choices.....

yeah.... play now... or i'll shoot ya.
The weird thing is.... many of the games are just the same. Only different names and different companies who made them... well... different. For example, Mafia War is just the same as Crime City ( and Ninja War, Vampire War, etc), do jobs, fight other peoples, increase your level, and so on. Well that is just one reasons I don't play social games frequently this age. One another reason is.... I need to use real money to get virtual money. Crazy, isn't it? When I saw some cool item, let say cool clothes, for example, I quickly clicked the buy button to buy it. Then suddenly, they ask for YOUR real money, to get it. And then... comes the cursing words from my mouth.

Social gamings. It's ruining the games industry. Thats what I heard from many, many articles in the magazine, news and the internet. For me, yeah, it does have an impact on gaming industry. It is free, addictive, and too simple. It's defiling the good name of hardcore gamers, who each days battle to improve their skill, saving their pockets money to buy new games, have to play every second to finish 100% in that particular game and more importantly, achieving the pride as a true gamers. Well, social gaming just stop all this work.... as social gaming is just for social. People only play for fun, no need to rush, no need to worry. Well, I cannot blame all of them because this is all part of the nature, make something that look interesting , and people will come to see.

TinierMe! Come and join me now!
I also managed to play some social games. One of them is TinierMe, a game which you can create your own anime character and meets new people out there. Haha! Actually, I've started playing this thingy a long time ago..... but suddenly I forgot my account password after a long day of not logging in......Thus, I've completely stopped playing.... for a moment...... That time was so busy actually....... I got alot of things to do.....So, I managed to recover my password, and thus, started playing this thingy again! And.... I really hope that I will find some peoples who share the same interest as me... That is why I play this kind of games. Last advice, social gaming is good, but if you want to be a real gamers, avoid it. If no, stuck your but in your seat... and enjoy....

My cute little avatar in TinierMe!
