Character profile - Biotite

Biotite is a group sheet silicate minerals that are commonly found in igneous and metamorphic rocks. The minerals in this group may have different chemical properties but share similar physical properties. A geologist would definitely recognize its distinguishable flaky, shiny feature in lots of rocks.

In the Mineral Moe universe, Biotite is the brain of the group. She is quiet, a little bit of an introvert and can say harsh remarks sometimes. While she doesn't possess high combat ability, she is invaluable as a support character; giving her allies important information and suggesting a viable tactical maneuver. Just don't make her mad, or you will regret it.

The biotite group is really easy to recognize. It is a black mica with perfect cleavage and vitreous luster on the cleavage faces. When held up to the light, the sheets are transparent to translucent with a brown, gray, or greenish color. The Monoclinic crystal structure is usually reserved for the rogue class, however she is in a class of her own as a scout. Under the thin section, she shows distinct green and brown pleochroism (which is why her eye have two shade of colours), 3th to 4th order birefringence (I used neon green colour for her hair just to complement with her colour scheme) and no twinning (hence the short hairstyle). The biological weapon theme is just a play on the word "bio" of her name, biotite. The glasses is a personal preference and doesn't hold any significant meaning (I mean a smart looking character have to had a glasses right?).
