This year's 15th issue of Shueisha's Young Jump magazine is announcing on Tuesday that a television anime adaptation ofYuusuke Murata's One-Punch Man manga has been green-lit. The cast and staff will be announced within a promotional video at Bandai Visual's booth at the Anime Japan 2015 event on March 21 and 22.

Murata wrote that when he learned about the anime being green-lit, he was so happy that he wanted to immediately post on Twitter, but unfortunately had to hold back and be patient. ONE wrote that he is participating in production meetings for the anime.

The series revolves around the titular super hero who has trained so hard that his hair has fallen out, and who can overcome any enemy with one punch. However, because he is so strong, he has become bored and frustrated with winning all his battles so easily.

Murata's manga series adapts ONE's original web manga of the same name. Murata's manga is currently running on Shueisha's free Tonari no Young Jump spinoff website. The series passed the 2.2-million mark in November 2013, the 3.4-million mark last May, and the 4.5-million mark in November.

5. Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou anime announced

The wraparound jacket band on OKAYADO's seventh Monster Musume (Monster Musume no Iru Nichijō or Everyday Life with Monster Girls) manga volume is announcing on Friday that a television anime adaptation has been green-lit. The accompanying flyer adds that the series will premiere in July and debuted the first anime visual.

OKAYADO launched the manga in Tokuma Shoten's Monthly Comic Ryū magazine in 2012. Seven Seas Entertainment published the sixth compiled volume in North America this month, and it describes the story:

"Monsters: they're real, and they want to date us!

Three years ago, the world learned that harpies, centaurs, catgirls, and all manners of fabulous creatures are not merely fiction; they are flesh and blood - not to mention scale, feather, horn, and fang. Thanks to the "Cultural Exchange Between Species Act," these once-mythical creatures have assimilated into society, or at least, they're trying.
When a hapless human teenager named Kurusu Kimihito is inducted as a "volunteer" into the government exchange program, his world is turned upside down. A snake-like lamia named Miia comes to live with him, and it is Kurusu's job to take care of her and make sure she integrates into his everyday life.

Unfortunately for Kurusu, Miia is undeniably sexy, and the law against interspecies breeding is very strict. Even worse, when a ravishing centaur girl and a flirtatious harpy move in, what's a full-blooded teenage human with raging hormones to do?!"

The series is often listed on The New York Times manga best-seller list. The manga's official Japanese website launched a campaign last September, asking fans to weigh in with their opinions on an anime adaptation over Twitter .(Source: ANN, 0takomu)
